How is a candidate's resume displayed?
Every candidate on Cutshort has a resume attached to their Talent Card. You can view it with a single click — but by default, contact details (like phone number and email) are masked.
Why are contact details hidden?
To keep the process transparent and respectful of candidates’ privacy, we only share contact details once you show interest through an Unlock.
What happens when I unlock a candidate?
When you click “Unlock profile” on a Talent Card:
The candidate’s contact details (email and phone) become visible on both the Talent Card and the resume.
You now have full access to reach out to the candidate directly.
Your account will be charged one unlock credit.
Pro Tip: Review the Talent Card and resume before unlocking to ensure the candidate is a strong match.
